Cannabis stocks continue to soar despite administration

Not only have Cannabis stocks outperformed indexes but they also have grown by over 236% in 2016. Despite recent comments made by the Trump administration backing away from the acceptance of the cannabis industry, growth continues as Cannabis stocks are outperforming other sectors. Analysts say that cannabis related businesses that "touch the plant" and associate it with their businesses have tremendous potential for growth.

Former NFL stars utilize Cannabis as medicine

It's a well known fact that football players oftentimes have lifelong injuries resulting in a life of pain and discomfort. Former Miami Dolphins Running Back Ricky Williams admits using marijuana to deal with that pain and is now a crusader for cannabis. He and two other former professional football players called on the National Football League to allow the use of marijuana as a medicine at a recent South Florida Conference for Cannabis.

Former Seminole tribe chief James E. Billie partners with Electrum to help tribes grow marijuana

Former Seminole Tribe chief James E. Billie announced that his company, MCW, is joining with Electrum Partners, a Nevada-based cannabis firm, to assist tribes around the country in establishing medical marijuana operations.  The partnership is aimed at increasing production of medical marijuana without having to deal with the complex web of local, state and federal laws that are causing a great amount of complication and thwarting businesses from entering the market while frightening banks.
